LPPC DSL BW 00729 Aviemore The first down morning train, after the departure of the Royal Highlander, from Perth to Inverness waits time at Aviemore before heading north over Slochd Summit to its final destination. Double-heading with two Sulzer Type 2s was the normal booked motive-power for these trains and it was quite common to see different Classes in multiple.
