As happened at most large urban terminal stations, there was
always a quiet interlude after lunchtime for a couple of hours and Liverpool Lime Street was no different. This time it’s a summer’s afternoon in 1973 and an immaculate outshopped AM4 Class 304 25kv LMR Western Lines EMU stands silently before its next working south. At the adjacent platform face is a two-car DMU probably for stations to Manchester Oxford Road or Warrington. Keywords: Digital, Rights Managed, Stock
